Chris Lucas

Chris was born in Singapore in 1971. As a "Forces child" (his father was in the RAF) he lived in a number of different countries and all over the UK before settling in Hampshire. Educated in Liphook, Alton and London, Chris has always been active in representing the interests of his peers and sat on the Pupil Council at school, was Student Union President at sixth form college and was Sabbatical Student Union President of Middlesex University (1992-1994). Since leaving University, Chris has worked in the business and publishing industries providing advertising and marketing solutions across a number of media. Chris is currently Sales Director at an online advertising company. Chris' political interests include community relations, foreign affairs and civil liberties. Chris is vehemently opposed to ID cards, the war in Iraq and racism/fascism. Chris believes strongly in Parliamentary reform, sustainability and strong community relations. In Ealing North, Chris will fight Labour's plan to close the A&E unit at Ealing Hospital, the plan by Boris Johnson to cut community policing and any expansion to Heathrow Airport. Outside of politics, Chris' family, music and travel are also keen interests. He also undertakes a number of charity runs, is a regular gym user and enjoys the odd game of golf. Chris has a daughter and lives with his wife and a succession of rescued foster dogs.
