In response to a public question that Liberal Democrat Councillor Gary Malcolm asked the Labour Councillor responsible for environmental matters, he admitted that Ealing Council only has 36 electric charging points for cars currently and expects only 66 by the middle of next year.

Councillor Gary Malcolm said: “Liberal Democrats say there are companies such as char.gy who can install electric charging points using the power from lamp posts and at no cost to Ealing Council. We should be expanding much faster so we can lead the way and encourage others to go greener.”
