People of Ealing Southall deserve an MP who will represent the whole community

Ming Campbell MP

Leader of the Liberal Democrats Menzies Campbell today said that Nigel Bakhai offered the diverse communities of Ealing Southall the best chance of a strong voice in Parliament. Sir Menzies Campbell and Nigel Bakhai were visiting the Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Southall.

Leader of the Liberal Democrats Menzies Campbell said:

"This Gurdwara is a magnificent example of what can be achieved when different communities work together.

"Ealing Southall is a place of great diversity. It deserves an MP who will speak up for the whole community. In Nigel Bakhai, that is what they will get.

"Nigel offers local people the only alternative to years of Labour neglect, which have left them with rising crime and a crumbling hospital."

Note: The Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara is the biggest in Europe. It was built with funding from the Hindu, Muslim and Sikh communities.
