Local campaigner and Hanwell resident Nigel Bakhai is campaigning to keep Ealing and Southall streets clean and tidy.

"Many neighbours and residents have told me they are unhappy at Ealing Council's failure to keep our area clean," says Nigel Bakhai.

"Hundreds of residents have reported problems in their street to me. Local people are proud of where they live, but it is clear that Ealing Council is not doing enough."

Problems reported include litter, graffiti, broken pavements and often dangerous potholes.

Nigel Bakhai says, "We all pay a lot of money in Council Tax and deserve much better services in return from the council."
