Local Concern Over Featherstone Primary School Site

11.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Mon 9th Jul 2007

Local resident and campaigner Nigel Bakhai has been taking up the concerns of residents of Dudley Road over the state of the old Featherstone Primary School site.

Many residents have complained that the school site has become a target for vandals and flytippers.

"The council seems to have taken no effective action to reuse this site, leaving it as an eyesore in the centre of Southall. I am now pressing the council to properly secure the site and to inform residents of the future plans for the school," says Nigel Bakhai.
