Nigel Bakhai, the local resident standing for the Liberal Democrat in the Ealing Southall by-election, is calling on Ealing Council to take action to improve Lammas Park.

"Lammas Park is a special area for local people, but the damaged and uneven paths in the park become full of water when it rains heavily - as it has been so often recently," says Nigel Bakhai.

"I am now pressing the council to stop neglecting this problem and to give us a properly maintained park. Ealing Council must also do a better job in future of removing dumped rubbish from the park."
