Francesco Fruzza and the Lib Dems against fortnightly bin collections

Lib Dem Francesco Fruzza said: "The council's first priority should be to make it much easier for people to recycle waste. That's the Council's legal duty as well as their moral responsibility."

Francesco added: "No-one I know is asking for bin collections to be cut back to fortnightly. It's only the Conservatives who are talking about that and it sounds like a bad idea to me."
