In addition to the ward forum spend on trees it has been confirmed that Southfield will now benefit from additional funds from the Mayor of London's Tree Fund. This means that most, if not all, of the trees that were cut down last November (over 100) will be replaced.

Councillor Andrew Steed commented: "Working with Council Officers we agreed that funds would be made available from the Ward Forum, that would be matched by the Council. Now we have the necessary funds to complete all replacements sooner than the original two year period that was proposed."
