Ealing Liberal Democrats have launched our manifesto for the May 2022 elections to Ealing Council. Entitled Six-to-Fix, it sets out an exciting vision for Ealing and improving council services across the borough.
Over the past couple of years, residents in Ealing have become fed up with how Ealing Labour's PR machine is trying to dictate what we do and how we do it. This has meant Acton tip was closed, they gave us the LTN traffic schemes without consulting us and dimmed our street lights without asking!
Councillor Gary Malcolm, Liberal Democrat Group Leader said "Ealing Liberal Democrats want to see Ealing Council getting the basics right so it can be a council you can trust. Our priorities are to have clean and safe streets, and for the Council to listen to residents and local communities. This means standing up to developers, reducing litter and fly-tipping, reversing the falling trend in recycling and overturning Labour's policy on street light dimming".
Our Six-to-Fix priorities are:
1. Listen to Ealing
2. Better planning system and housing:
3. Improve local transport and the environment
4. Clean and safe Ealing
5. Care for people
6. A well-run Council
