Jacobs Ladder

Ealing Lib Dems are campaigning for the council to take the lead on replacing the foot bridge (Jacobs Ladder) that connects residents in West Ealing with West Ealing Station. The natural route for many West Ealing residents to the station is over this bridge which connects Felix Road and Manor Road. The nearby walkways have also seen episodes of fly-tipping.

After years of neglect, the bridge is crumbling away and will soon be dangerous. Liberal Democrat candidate for Pitshanger, Francesco Fruzza says, “We want to encourage more walking and cycling. If the council were serious about walking or cycling, they would give this bridge priorityWe call on Ealing Council to work alongside Network Rail to see this bridge reinstated and provide another pedestrian route across the railway."
