Since lockdown many of Ealing Council's services were only possible using their website or via the phone. Many vulnerable groups who do not have access to the internet are not always aware of the services they are entitled to and so have missed out. We also know that people are having to wait up to half an hour to get their queries answered by telephone.
The Ealing Liberal Democrats want to see Ealing Council fully re-open safely the Customer Service Centre at Perceval House so people can get the advice and help they need as soon as possible. Currently many users and residents are visiting third parties including charities who cannot offer the help that people expect and so are signposting them to Ealing Council despite many users not having the access to internet services.
The petitioners ask that Ealing Council re-opens the Customer Service Centre at Perceval House so more people can get the advice and help they need as soon as possible.
