On July 10th, Ealing Council's Labour cabinet confirmed they want to close Pitshanger Library.
The lease comes up for renew this December, and the council have said they won't renew it.
They claim they want to replace it with a smaller "community library", but this would be only staffed by volunteers and much smaller than the existing arrangement.
Ealing needs Pitshanger Library. Residents care about it.
Ealing Liberal Democrats, along with the undersigned petitioners, call for plans to close Pitshanger Library to be scrapped, and for the council to defend our public services.
