Jon Ward is a licensee in Walpole and has been running pubs and bars for nearly 25 years. Jon has always been a passionate campaigner for both LGTBQI and Disability rights. He is a founder of the Charity Animal Touch which gives people and children with special needs the therapeutic experience of interacting with animals. Jon said: “I want to prioritise the need for more affordable housing in Ealing and street cleaning for Walpole.”

Matthew Mellor has lived in Northfields for over a decade with his wife and 2 children who attend the local primary school. He spent 12 years working in local government and the past 6 years as a contract manager in the NHS. Matthew said: “My priority is getting the Council to genuinely listen to local people, as Ealing Council had the most formal complaints of any council in London last year. They ignored the strong community feeling about LTNs and take ages to respond to residents trying to access services.”

Mark Andrews has lived in Ealing for 25 years. His three children attended local schools. He runs his own IT consultancy business. Mark wishes to hold Ealing Labour to account, with a particular focus on the environment. Mark said: “Our community has been let down by poor services under Labour including falling recycling rates and the fiasco with the waste contractor. The Liberal Democrats will prioritise improving the local environment, especially taking action to improve air quality.”
