"Let us know what you think about the borough" say Ealing Lib Dems

Over the past month or so, the Ealing Liberal Democrats have been listening to residents' views through their residents' survey.

One of the key findings is that crime is the biggest topic residents have raised with us. A number of people stated that crime is especially bad in West Ealing and Deans Gardens, as well as the areas where the Liberal Democrats have Councillors.

Here are some quotes from local residents:

  • “Too many e-bikes on pavement”
  • “Lots and lots of flyposting and graffiti”
  • “Anti-social behaviour is everywhere”
  • “There is an overdevelopment of our area”
  • “We need community activity for our young people”
  • “Wholly inadequate level of street cleaning”
  • “Too many leaves/weeds in the street”
  • “I commonly see graffiti and blocked roadside drains in the street”
  • “We need to get Lammas Park open again”
  • “There is a lack of support for disabled people in Ealing”

Liberal Democrat Councillor Connie Hersch is inviting all residents to let us know what issues are important to them and where improvements can be made across the borough and its services.  The survey only takes around five minutes to complete. Please see links below to access the survey.

Councillor Connie Hersch, Liberal Democrat Shadow Cabinet member for Communities, said: "Liberal Democrats have already received over 500 residents’ responses so far and we are keen to hear from more people and get a broad cross section of views from residents from across the whole borough. Let us know what matters to you."
