Increase street cleaning frequencies

Both Labour and the Conservatives voted against Lib Dems’ costed plan to increase street cleaning frequencies.

Streets are riddled with leaves and fly-tipping as a result. With the recent rainy and icy weather, the combination of the lack of street cleaning and gritting means local people are getting injured as a result.

Local Lib Dem Councillors and campaigners have been pressing the Council to increase street cleaning to avoid future accidents.
