Our Supporting Focus Team Members
Here we introduce eight Liberal Democrats who are looking to become Councillors in the 2026 local elections, next May. They work with the seven Liberal Democrat Councillors who are the Official Opposition on Ealing Council.

Ealing Broadway ward
Mandy Lurie
- Have lived in the borough for 25 years and raised two children here, who went to St Benedict's Junior School.
- Team leader at the volunteer-run Northfields Community Library for 5.5 years.
- Volunteer for many local organisations including The Store Cupboard, HomeStart, Volunteer Help and at the Winter Night Shelter.
Francesco Fruzza
- Member of Pitshanger Police Panel.
- Trustee of Age UK Ealing.
- Donated blood 87 times (correct at the time of publishing).
Adam Keenan
- Sits on Ealing Broadway's Safer Neighbourhoods Police Panel.
- Member of Central Ealing Residents Asssociation (CERA).
- Active member of Ealing's Questors Theatre - the biggest community theatre in the UK!
Ealing Common ward
Lakhbir Singh
- Regularly uncovers and reports fly tips in Ealing Common.
- Volunteers at Lager Can, to keep our streets and parks cleaner.
- Former Mayor of Luton.
Hanger Hill ward
Mark Sanders
- School governor at Ravenor School for the last 11 years.
- Volunteer and Trustee at the Hounslow Foodbox for more than ten years.
- Treasurer of Friends of The Victoria Hall for the last 7 years.
Walpole ward
William Francis
- Participated in numerous litter picks in Ealing parks with Lager Can.
- Attended local residents meeting (organised by West Ealing Neighbours).
- Hosted numerous events for young people in Ealing.
Ksenia Maximova
- Long time volunteer with Lager Can helping to keep our local streets and parks clean with her family.
- Managed a crowd funded project to do ground water surveys, buy diggers and created a pond as well as funding bins to keep the area clean.
- Founder of the Russian Democratic Society, a London-based organisation that opposes Putin and speaks out against the invasion of Ukraine.
Matthew Mellor
- Campaigning for an independent review into Lammas Park's SuDS fiasco where about half of the park is not useable.
- Set up a blue badge campaign to get the Council to reduce blue badge theft and create a digital blue badge and spoke to Councillors at a Council meeting as part of this campaign.
- Member of the Walpole Police Panel.
