Stop the Troubadour Theatre semi-permanent structure at Walpole Park

Ealing's Labour-run Council are planning to allow Troubadour Theatre to build a semi-permanent structure to host theatre events in Walpole Park all year round for three years.

Local residents are extremely concerned about the excessive noise, increasing traffic congestion on Mattock Lane, the potential impact on The Questors Theatre, building a semi-permenant structure on Metropolitan Open Land (MOL), and that large parts of Walpole Park will be blocked from public all year round under the current plans.

The Liberal Democrat Official Opposition are demanding that the current plan for Troubadour Theatre to build a 1,200-seat semi-permenant theatre at Walpole Park is stopped, and an alternative suitable site is found instead.
